Voronezh air defense units intercepted 113 drones during the night of October 25 and 26, 2026. The coordinated attack targeted two major industrial sites: the Voronezh Aircraft Production Association and the Voronezhsintezkauchuk rubber plant. Local authorities reported fires at both locations following the strikes.

The Voronezhsintezkauchuk facility is part of the Sibur group and produces synthetic rubbers and polymer materials. The Voronezh Aircraft Production Association, known as VASO, is a division of the Ilyushin Aviation Complex within the United Aircraft Corporation. The plant manufactures aviation components and the Ilyushin Il-96 jet airliner.

Aleksandr Gusev, the Governor of Voronezh Oblast, confirmed the fires to Russian media outlet Interfax. He stated that air defense units brought down more than 70 drones directly over the city. When including the wider urban area and several districts, the total interception count reached 113. Gusev described the incidents as occurring without major consequences, a characterization that differs from damage reports by local observers.

The governor noted that fires also started in a business centre, an apartment building, two dacha settlements, a school stadium, and a garage cooperative. He reported damage to building facades and windows in nearly every district of the city. Russian media outlet Astra identified specific impact sites, including the Galereya Chizhova business centre at 35A Koltsovskaya Street.

Astra also documented explosion sites near residential buildings on 52A 25th Yanvarya Street and 4K Arkhitektora Troitskovo Street. Further damage was recorded at the Uritsky residential complex on 135 Uritskovo Street. At a car park on 275/1 45th Strelkovoy Divizii Street, at least ten cars were caught in the flames.

Readers of Astra reported hearing explosions and air defense operations for over an hour. The city remained shrouded in smoke throughout the engagement. Residents noted that no formal air-raid warning was issued prior to the strikes. Local authorities continued to assess the full extent of the damage to public and private property as of the morning of October 26.
