Moviegoers in Orange County can see the first two entries in the Dune franchise again this November. The rerelease is timed to promote the upcoming third film, which will open in December.

Both Dune and Dune: Part Two will be shown as a double feature on IMAX screens on Nov. 13. Viewers who miss that date can see each film individually from Nov. 14 through Nov. 18.

The third and final film in the trilogy, Dune: Part Three, arrives in theaters and on IMAX screens nationwide on Dec. 18. Denis Villeneuve directed the film and wrote the script with Brian K. Vaughan. The story is based on Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah.

Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides. Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, and Isaach De Bankolé also appear in the cast. Charlotte Rampling, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Javier Bardem join the ensemble alongside newcomers Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke.

The plot is set almost two decades after Paul Atreides took control of the Imperium. The official description states that Paul must face the consequences of his reign as old allies return and new threats emerge. It notes that Paul is drawn into a sweeping conspiracy with Chani at the heart of the mystery.

AMC Theatres has announced two new collectible popcorn buckets for the release. Called the Sandworm Thumper and the Double Sandworm, the buckets feature a working Thumper design and multiple Shai-Hulud figures. The chain described the items as legendary collectibles for the epic conclusion.
